Lists

My life consists of making lists. And making lists of lists. I have tried to perfect a way of making lists that are all-inclusive, yet don't have to be rewritten on a daily basis and I have concluded it is impossible.

I have scraps of paper and post its and things stapled to my planner and lists tucked inside my planner...I wonder how much time I waste even making my lists? Could I ever go cold turkey? I don't think so.

An effective way to make decisions is by making lists. You put down the pros and the cons and weigh and see how they add up. Something super-important gets counted more than once.

I wonder whether people I admire made lists. Lists by Gandhi, Jesus, Giotto and Socrates might be interesting to have a look at. Are there any lists on Egyptian walls, I wonder?

How un-monumental my lists are. "Buy screw anchors," indeed.
